I) In-store TV


GO SPORT - COURIR GROUP


Objectives :


French Gosport/Courir sportshops Group has equipped more than 200 of it’s points of sale with a digital signage solution displayed on Plasma and LCD screens.The group intended to communicate coherently about current commercial offers (promotion, exclusive products, marketing operations) but also to set an internal communication system toward the employees through back officeLCDscreens(e-learning).


Solution :


30 Flash movies were created, designed accordingly to the group’s identity.These movies can be edited, previewed and eventually modifiedthrough a secured access website .The information is then sent to all the equipped shops, and directly updated.

PALAIS DES SPORTS DE PARIS


Objectives :


Famous parisian concert hall Palais des sports wished to equip with plasma screens point of sale system, in order to communicate about current shows, tickets categories and pricings.System should be available for editing by cashiers, directly fromtheir desk.


Solution :


10 dynamic Flash movies were created, within which pictures, sound samples and texts can be modifiedbytheclient.A dedicated editing interface was set on employees computers, so that changes could update the display in real time via company's network.


Palais des sports wished to equip with plasma screens point of sale system, in order to communicate
about current shows.

BROADCAST Movies are broadcasted every day on 6 plasma screens, inside the Palais des sports.

SCREENY REAL ESTATE


Objectives :


Target a specific guild,real estate agencies, by creating a set of dedicated dynamic Flash movies .These movies should be able to display specifically the typical products and services offered by real estate agencies (sale, rent, financial advice...).The end result had to be marketed as a complete Digital signage solution package.


Solution :


After studying the market (web sites, classifieds,agencies current digital signage solutions) and identifying the principal activities of real-estate agencies , 10 flash “templates” were created.Clients logo, font, movie color can be edited as the content itself. This allows the client to personnalize his communication by choosing beetween 50 potential rendering styles.

BROADCAST The pack immo is currently used in several parisian real estate agencies.

CARLIPACK


Objectives :


Offer local stores a packaged digital signage solution, comprised of both a hardware and software system, allowing them to manage their media planning and to display their contents with a single computer.


Solution :


A custom Windows XPE Image was designed for this purpose, then the Carlipack software itself was developped using .Net Framework and integrated as the main feature of the operating system.


BROADCAST Carlipack is currently used by french real estate and travel agencies.

ACTIVE MEDIA


Objectives :


Automatically generate contents based on external data providers (web services, databases ..), then send and display them on screen networks.


Solution :


Dedicated WIN32 services were developped for each information feed (News, weather forecasts, trafic information ..), in order to integrate these feeds in a "ready to broadcast" animated media.


BROADCAST Active Media contents are currently daily broadcasted on hundreds of screens over France.

RETAIL PACK


Objectives :


Offer a fully customizable (title, price, background color ...) set of animated templates targetting retail stores market.


Solution :


Five templates were designed (product presentation, shop information ..) allowing to create and customize animated messages (special offers, timetables ..).


BROADCAST Retail pack is integrated and exploited within each Carlipack solution.

II) Financial news


LCI - LA COTE BLEUE


Objectives :


Calculate and generate animated charts as well as share tables for a live tv show through parsing an XML feed dedicated to financial information.No third party software (eg, swf chart generators) should be used.


Solution :


A set of dynamic flash items was developped(historical and intraday charts, tables).These flash movies are highly customizable in order to display all kind of financial instruments and respond to any event that may occur during the day.Once generated, the movies self-update with latest feed, up to once every second.These movies are used in fullscreen as well as an information carrier for the presenter.

BROADCAST The show is broadcasted live, nine times a day, on the top french news channel, LCI.

FORTIS INVESTMENTS


Objectives :


Broadcast a real-time financial information(latest quotation of major share indexes and currencies) ,historical charts and share tables.The system must update itself without human intervention.


Solution :


18 self-updating and independent Flash movies were developped.Charts data is downloaded once a day by a deamon, in order to save bandwith for the data retrieval process used in real time information display.

BROADCAST Movies are displayed on a wall of images comprised of four 60" DLP screens, in Fortis investments trading room (Paris).

III) Digital Kiosks


BRITTANY FERRIES


Objectives :


Inform Pont-Aven's passengers about current offers, security rules and services offered during cruise.These informations should be available in three languages.


Solution :


A dynamic Flash interface was designed and developped to display these informations.The client may change the content with a dedicated editing software, allowing him to modify pictures and texts, even during the cruise.This feature is especially useful in case of emergency.


These informations are available in three languages on a digital signage deck information system.

BROADCAST System is used on 8 touch screens, during all ship’s cruises.

NATURINFORMATION AB


Objectives :


For Rogen's natural park (Sweden), enhance ecological prevention towards visitors of all age and different nationalities, through an aspect of play.


Solution :


A flash interface allows visitor to determine his language and age.He’s then granted access to several flash games explaining him park rules.Quizzes content can be modified by the client through a dedicated software.

IV) CD-ROM


DIAMONDS & THE POWER OF LOVE


Objectives :


In order to promote a Place Vendôme expo about diamonds history Developp within a short amount of time a cross-platform CD ROM to display diamonds from the expo as well as video creations related to this event.


Solution :


Using videos and pictures provided by the client, a CD ROM was developped and designed.Videos were encoded into swf file format,so they could be displayed within the flash application itself.The CDROM can run on most operating systems, even if not equipped with flash player plug in or video player.

BROADCAST 5000 CDs were produced and distributed to journalists.

WAYS


Objectives :


Developp a CD ROM to promote a short movie from a young french director.The creative goal was to transmit and extend movie's atmosphere through a multimdedia product.


Solution :


CD ROM was produced in partnership with the director.It’s containing the movie itself, the original soundtrack, and a set of high-res pictures from the movie presented through a slideshow.

V) Web applications


LANGUAGE LEARNING


Objectives :


Create an educational and entertaining web application, runnable on any major web browser, to teach users standard foreign languages words from basic lexical fields such as food, clothing, anatomy.


Solution :


A flash application relying on the use of drag and drop, in which words and there traductions are dynamically loaded, which allows quick and unlimited adding of new languages. Design by Asa Sandzen

CARLIPA BANNER


Objectives :


Create an animated banner for Carlipa's website, explaining the bases of the company's product.


Solution :


A flash movie was designed and integrated in the company's website.
